Prototype Swarm

       Prototype Swarm is a game created in Unity Engine to test some elements of a much larger project - Rat Hunter, a pixel art game which would feature fast-paced gameplay with hordes of enemies and bosses that the player would need to cut through, a written storyline with many unique characters, several player skill trees with active and passive skills that allowed the player to choose their progression route, unique loot as well as collection of common enemy drops and items on the map intended to be used with a simplistic crafting system, and a player's caravan that acts as an upgradeable hideout on a large designed map with several biomes with progressive difficulty, that would be traversed through procedurally generated encounters.

       Rat Hunter concept turned out to be too big to fully prototype from the start, so I opted for the second best thing - prototyping some mechanics and systems that would be used in the final product as a small standalone game. 

       Prototype Swarm ended up featuring simple procedural generation of structures and objects, wandering enemies as well as hand-crafted sprites and animations.
